Psychopy crashes using USB2TTL8 device

Dear Community,

I am trying to run an experiment using Psychopy v3.2.4 with my laptop (Windows 10) connected to a USB2TTL8 device (LabHackers). When connected to the device, the experiment starts but it doesn’t run (only the grey screen appears) and after some seconds the software crashes. No error message is displayed.

Do you have some advice? How can I solve this problem?

Hi Giovanni,

Is there a reason that you must use v3.2.4? The first check I usually recommend when seeing older versions of PsychoPy is to see if an update helps!

Does the participant info dialogue appear before the crash?
