Hi, have any users used psychopy on a mac with the new M1 chip? thinking of purchasing one, but I want to make sure that there won’t be any issues with running this software and presenting my stimuli for an fMRI study.

I recently switched from a windows intel i7 7th gen to a MacBook Air with M1.
I don’t run my experiment on my M1 because we have a dedicated windows i5 desktop for experiments in the lab.
However, I prepare all my experiments on the M1, run all my pilots/troubleshooting on it and haven’t had any issue.
Happy I made the switch, and you shouldn’t have any trouble with it.
The only thing that you need to have in mind if you are switching from a windows, relates to some python packages that might need different inputs because you are using MacOS (e.g., connecting to a serial port through pyserial, etc.)
