Please can I check if you are using version psychopy 2020.2.10 ? That seemed to fix the error in this case

I don’t have a solution to offer, but I can say I’m experiencing a very similar error in PsychoPy 2020 2.8 on my mac laptop running Catalina 10.15.3. This is in an experiment which was working fine on my office computer (Windows) a few days ago.
