NotSupportedError: Failed to load because no supported source was found. - MP4 Bug on Chrome

My stimuli are 25 MP4 videos, 3s long each. When I try to run my experiment on Chrome (Version 110.0.5481.100), I get this error:
"NotSupportedError: Failed to load because no supported source was found. "

When I run it on Safari, it works, but some videos freeze/are not smooth.

Any advices? Thanks!

I have a feeling that this could be to do with Google Chrome’s latest update, based on this older thread. But just to check - would you be able/happy to share a link to the experiment you’re having issues with? Or perhaps a very minimal version that shows the issue you’re having?

An additional comment here for future. I encountered this error when the mp4 files I was trying to present had no audio, editing them so that they had silent audio prevented the error.
