Loop : missing data in the excel file

PsychoPy version: 2023.2.3.
Standard Standalone? (y/n) ?
What are you trying to achieve?: To get data from a loop. There are three sounds played and the subject has to answer by pressing two keys. The loop has two rounds.

What did you try to make it work?: I set up a loop as it was showed in various tutorials. I also checked if there was an error on the excel file saying where psychopy founds the sounds. It seems that the excel file locating the three sounds works because the experiment runs as I want it (one loop, two rounds).

What specifically went wrong when you tried that?: When I import the csv data into an excel file, I can only see the data for the first round in the loop. In addition to that, the data is dispersed on different rows.

Can you provide screenshots of

  • the routine where the sound components are placed and
  • property window of the loop?

Check the “Is trials” option in the loop properties.
It might already fix your problem.
