Is it possible to counterbalance stimulus lists across participants, online?

What did you try to make it work?:

I’m trying to have a different stimulus list appear for each participant. That is, essentially counterbalancing the stimulus list across participants. I tried to do this by creating a loop of the experiment that loads a different conditions file on the loop.

What specifically went wrong when you tried that?:
I wasn’t able to have it loop just once. Is there a better way to have a different stimulus list appear for each participant?

To give a bit more detail, I am using the GUI. I have a very simple experiment that just repeats a single stimulus for a participant. But there are several different stimuli that could be presented, and I want the one chosen to be counterbalanced across participants.

I believe I found the answer to this here: https://youtu.be/WgYveOqOPfo

I just have to be sure that it works online as well.

I figure I will leave the topic up in case others have the same question.

You mention online in your title. If you want equal numbers in each group then you will need to either allocate participants to different groups using something like Quatlrics or use my pavlovia web app to generate sequential participant numbers
