How to save the start and stop time of events?

If this template helps then use it. If not then just delete and start from scratch.

OS (e.g. Win10): win11
PsychoPy version (e.g. 1.84.x): 2024.2.1post4
Standard Standalone? (y/n) y
What are you trying to achieve?:
I’m hoping to be able to save the start and stop time of events. For example, when a polygon or image shows up or disappears.

What did you try to make it work?:
I checked the “save onset/offset times”. I’m assuming that should be what I want? But I can’t find the data saved anywhere. Thank you for the help!

Hello

this information should be saved in your result file.

Best wishes Jens

Hi, thank you for the reply! But what is the result file? Is it the data folder? I don’t see the timestamps anywhere. Could you tell me in which file exactly I can find them? Thank you!

I found them! The timestamps are in the csv file save in the data folder once “save csv file (trial by trial)” is checked. Thank you!
