I am currently building my first experiment on Psychopy builder (on a Mac). I am trying to do a colour discrimination task, where there are 2 circles of slightly different colours. I created an excel file with “c1” in A1 and “C2” in B1, and hsv values under them. In “fill color” for the circles, I wrote “$c1” and “$c2”. However, when I put my cvs file in the loop, it sees “c1” and “c2” as parameters, not conditions. When I try to run the experiment, it doesn’t work (but it does work with fixed colours, so the problem really is with the excel file).
What am I doing wrong? Please help!!
Try a separate column for each colour number rather than putting a list in a spreadsheet cell.
