I am trying to integrate an emotion detection software into an experiment that i have created in order to do an online study. I was able to make progress using the face-api.js software (face-api.js) and the demo_faceapi (Rebecca Hirst / demo_faceapi · GitLab ).
I was wondering if anyone has in mind any publications regarding the accuracy/validation of the face-api.js or any studies that used face-api.js to capture emotions.
For instance, i came across this publication that used face-api to infer attentional states Measuring real-time cognitive engagement in remote audiences - PMC however up until now i was not able to find a publication that used face-api to detect emotions.
