Textbox component keyboard glitch on Android

When using a textbox component on an Android tablet, the keyboard rapidly flashes on the screen, rendering it unusable. I initially thought this was an issue because I had them typing with the stylus on the on-screen keyboard, then clicking the next button to end the routine. I tried changing it so that there is no mouse component. Instead, they end the routine by pressing the enter key. That did not help. The keyboard still rapidly flashes.
