Citing Public Pavlovia Demo in Academic Paper

Hi!

For an academic paper (for uni) I used the code from the Pavlovia public demo for the Iowa Gambling Task and slightly adjusted the code within it/card values for my task. When writing my methodology (materials), how should I cite that I got my code from downloading the Pavlovia demo’s zip, adjusting the code, and running it in PsychoPy. Thank you !!

I assume you are already citing Bechara et al. (1994) as per the readme.

For the code, as per How to cite PsychoPy code and the demo was forked from Sue Mah’s account, a reasonable citation would be Mah, S. (2024, April 10). Iowa gambling task [Computer software]. Pavlovia. https://gitlab.pavlovia.org/demos/iowa_gambling_task
