From the logs @amazza shared, it looks like the error is something to do with having a menu item with an image on wxPython for Linux specifically. In general, wxPython (which the PsychoPy Standalone app runs on) has pretty poor support for Linux, so I would advise using the new PsychoPy Studio app instead.
