# Wakefield's Daily Tips

## Filtering components

The components menu can be filtered to hide components which can only be used locally or online. Click on the funnel icon in the top right.

If you only run experiments locally or online then you can select one of the first two. Both will show components that work locally AND online. Any will show components that locally AND/OR online (i.e. everything).

Components can also be hidden in the userPrefs.cfg file in C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\psychopy3

Here is my Builder section (after having changed the filter to Both).
