Unfortunately I don’t have any experience with voice capture myself, but I found this forum post from 2017 that suggests it might not be possible to do what you want:

Use voice key to advance routine?

OS (e.g. Win10): Win10 PsychoPy version (e.g. 1.84.x): 1.85.2 For keyboard responses, you can set the stimulus duration to 0 to keep the stimulus on-screen until a response is logged. Is it possible to do this for a voice key event, rather than a keyboard event?

Hopefully someone else can weigh in? Maybe someone has found a solution to this in the past 2 years!
