# Unable to recover Pavlovia password

Apologies if this query is misplaced, but I’ve forgotten my Pavlovia password and have been unable to retrieve/recover/reset it. When I click the “Reset password” button, I do not receive an email at the specified address; yet when I try to create a new account with the same address, I am unable to owing to the address already being in use. I have tried multiple times over the past week or so, so assume it is not just a time-delay issue (and have repeatedly checked my Spam folder…). If anyone has any suggestions concerning how to resolve this issue, I’d love to hear them; my only idea at present is “sign up using a different email address”, but I’d prefer to avoid that if possible.

For the record, this turned out to be an issue with the server not being permitted (by university security rules) to access the outgoing mail server. I’m afraid it took a while for us to get that sorted out but pavlovia is now allowed to send you email so reminder emails are now possible.

Hi, I need to login to my experiments, apparently I forgot my password, and when I try to reset it I receive no email for resetting. Could you please help me?
