When using a textbox component on an Android tablet, the keyboard rapidly flashes on the screen, rendering it unusable.

I initially thought this was an issue because I had them typing with the stylus on the on-screen keyboard, then clicking the next button to end the routine. I tried changing it so that there is no mouse component. Instead, they end the routine by pressing the enter key. That did not help. The keyboard still rapidly flashes.

Anyone found a work around for this?

I was able to solve this. In the index.html file on Pavlovia, in the viewport line, I added “interactive-widget=overlays-content” which prevents the Android system from resizing the screen when the keyboard pops up.
