# Sending Triggers to g.Tec Devices

Hi all,

Is anyone aware of how to send trigger events to g.Tec EEG devices?

I know it is a short question but I could not find any information online or in this forum. Any help would be appreciated.

The best starting point would be to work out what signals the g.Tec can work with. Is it expecting a TTL pulse, a serial port, a LabStreamingLayer connection, a TCP socket…? PsychoPy can handle any of these but this isn’t a device we’ve directly worked with so you need to know what sort of communication it supports

Hey! we are working with G.tec device using Psychopy (we are in the process of setting up trigger code too). We are particularly looking at Parallel port setup. Could you guide us with trigger code setting in that case? (suing psychopy builder)

Hi, we are also setting up an experiment in our lab that uses triggers from PsychoPY with g.tec equipment - have you solved the issue of sending triggers from PsychoPy to g.HIamp? If so, I would be interested to hear how - thanks!

Yes! Are you working with ghiamp? how many electrode system?
