Running Psychopy and Presentation on the same computers

Hi,

My lab is going to use a program that is written in PsychoPy. Until now, we’ve been using Presentation. I wanted to know whether installing and running PsychoPy on the same computer on which Presentation runs will interfere with the functioning of PsychoPy. PsychoPy will be using the same parallel ports that Presentation uses and sending triggers to the same machines.

We’re not trying to run both programs simultaneously, just PsychoPy for one task and Presentation for others.

Don’t worry, you will be absolutely fine if the programs are not being run simultaneously. Feel free to use them for different studies as required.
