Hi Everyone!

We’re excited to share that PsychoPy version 2026.2.0 is now available for testing!  🎉

Please do download it, give it a test, and report an issues you encounter on the forum here. This will allow us plenty of time to squash any bugs well in advance of installations for teaching term and lab installations.

New features include inline styling of text in TextBox, HDF5 markers for eye tracking experiments, improvements to low-latency audio playback and recording using sound-device (no need to psychtoolbox backend), and many bug fixes.
