# Problems when uploading projects to Pavlovia with Psychopy 2020.2.8

URL of experiment: not yet existent

Description of the problem: This morning, I updated to psychopy version 2020.2.8 and since then, I’m having problems uploading new projects to Pavlovia. After uploading a project from psychopy, the following error message appears:

Traceback (most recent call last):  
File „/Applications/PsychoPy.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python3.6/psychopy/app/pavlovia\_ui/project.py“, line 161, in submitChanges  
AttributeError: ‚NoneType‘ object has no attribute ‚project‘

However, the project is still uploaded on gitlab, I can access it and make changes as usual, but it does not appear on the “experiments” dashboard in Pavlovia.

I tried to upload several experiments by now, also some that I uploaded without any problems before the update, and I always get the same issue. Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?

Could you categorize your issue under builder? Then we’re sure the right people pick it up.
