Playing random songs from excel sheet

Hi! I’m trying to play random songs from an excel sheet which has a path to it.

I have put the $MPATH in the Sound location.

But it says

How can I solve this?
OS (e.g. Win10): Win10
PsychoPy version (e.g. 1.84.x): 1.84.2
I have to use the old version since my prof said I only have to use this version…

Hi There,

A couple of Qs here that might help:

  1. I notice some of the file extensions are capitalised and others are not - do the capitalisations all correspond to the file names? (e.g. MP3 vs mp3)
  2. There are several special characters in the paths I wonder if they might cause issues - can you see what happens if you replace the scored out Ws with forward slashes?
