# Pavlovia not updating shape opacity after first trial

Hello! I am trying to upload my working experiment to pavlovia but having some issues. There is some code in the program that changes the opacity of a shape on the screen depending on which key is pressed (a box appears around the answer they chose). It works totally fine in psychopy and so used the auto py --\> js to convert the code to js and uploaded it to Pavlovia. The box will appear correctly the first trial in the loop but wont update for any of the later trials (if the left box appears you will only see the left box no matter what you press). I added print statements to the code so I know that condition and opacities are updating like they should it just isn’t showing it on the screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

p.s. I am using the newest update.
