# Not possible to register to Pavlovia - error for password

Dear community,

I am trying to register as a new user to Pavlovia on this website: [Sign in · GitLab](https://gitlab.pavlovia.org/users) However, every time I try, it gives me an error:

_1 error prohibited this user from being saved:_

- Password should be at least 10 characters long and include: 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 digit and 1 special character\*

I made sure to select password that is at least 10 characters long, I used both uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and other characters (mostly . and /), so it should fulfill all the requirements. I have no idea what to try next, I tried multiple passwords, and nothing is working. I also tried registering both via Firefox and Edge.

Can someone please advise me what to do? Or does anyone experience the same problem?

The / character might be causing an issue.

Thank you! I tried using # instead as the special character, and it worked for that.
