I am using “StandalonePsychoPy3_PY2-3.2.4-win32.exe” for a speech perception and production study (Windows 10). The perception part works fine, but the production part crashes after a few trials without any error message. The only thing that shows on the screen is “python.exe” is not responding.
Task: Participants will see a word on the screen, and their task is to read the word aloud (their production gets recorded) and press the space bar to read the next word. There are around 360 tokens.
The production section works fine on another laptop, which is not connected to the university network. I have checked the settings on both laptops, and they match.
Any suggestions?
