Mac Mini as a testing computer

I plan to purchase a Mac Mini to use as a testing computer.

I will primarily be running studies in PsychoPy and wanted to be sure that there won’t be any problems with the base model out of the box. The specs are:

  • Apple M2 with 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 16‑core Neural Engine
  • 8GB unified memory
  • 256GB SSD storage

I will be presenting visual (words, shapes, videos) and audio stimuli, and collecting button-press responses.
