I want to redirect my participants on Qualtrics, to a Pavlovia survey, and then back to the Qualtrics. I want there to be a consistent participantID that automatically transfers across sites without needing participants to input anything anywhere.

I’ve seen some tips on how to do this with two separate Qualtrics surveys, but I’m worried that will mess up the participantID from applying across three separate surveys and make my results harder to interpret. Is there a way to integrate a Pavlovia experiment into one Qualtrics survey and have it be on the same tab, auto-directing participants back to the Qualtrics when they are finished with the pavlovia experiment? Everything I’ve tried currently generates a 404 error whenever I direct to pavlovia. Thanks!

I have tried to come back to a single Qualtrics survey in the past and it hasn’t worked, which is why the recommended route is to pass an ID from survey 1 to survey 2 via Pavlovia. Use the ResponseID in survey1 as participant in Pavlovia and survey 2. If you are getting a 404 error, then that is what needs addressing.

> Daisy Chaining Daisy chaining means going from one web application to another in a single participant session. It normally requires passing the values of one or more variables from one app. to the next so that the data can be matched. There are two aspects to consider. The first is sending values TO Pavlovia. I highly recommend that you send a value for participant (without changing the spelling or capitalisation) since this value will start the data file and log file names. A column for sessi…

> Sorry I am a complete newbie at psychopy/pavlovia. I have create a survey in Qualtrics which randomly assigns a participant ID, but would response ID work better if the data can be transferred from pavlovia to qualtrics? I am aiming to then embed the Pavlovia link with in qualtrics. I have seen that people are able to transfer the participant ID from Qualtrics to Pavlovia, but I was wondering if I can then do it back from pavlovia to Qualtrics where participants can see the debrief. I was also …
