Description of the problem: Is there a way to limit the number of participants that take part in my online experiment? My sample should not exceed 62 participants, since I plan to compensate them and have some budgetary restrictions…

Hello,

This might do the trick [New web app. VESPR Study Portal](https://discourse.psychopy.org/t/new-web-app-vespr-study-portal/22251) You will need the advanced features to set a maximum number of participants.

Best wishes Jens

For a simple participation limit you just need the incremental participant number and some code in the experiment to stop participation once it exceeds 62. You could just use my original tool [https://moryscarter.com/vespr/pavlovia.php](https://moryscarter.com/vespr/pavlovia.php)

The Shelf is an alternatives to my VESPR Study portal for counterbalancing.
