# How to install PsychoPy 2022.1.4 on Ubuntu 22.04

[Here is the link](https://discourse.psychopy.org/t/how-to-install-psychopy-2022-1-4-on-ubuntu-22-04-using-virtualenv/30125) to instructions on how to install PsychoPy on Ubuntu 22.04 using virtualenv (i.e. without touching python’s system installation).

Also, I’ve indicated needed packages more thoroughly this time, for documentation purposes.
