If this template helps then use it. If not then just delete and start from scratch.

**OS** (e.g. Win10): Win10
**PsychoPy version** (e.g. 1.84.x): 1.85.2
**Standard Standalone? (y/n)** If not then what?: yes
**What are you trying to achieve?:** Playing video leads to an error “Could not find imageio’s ffmpeg executable” and an “access denied”.

Several others have reported this:

> Hello I am working in the builder, and added a video stimuli. However, I am getting the following error message and am not sure how to interpret it. Any idea what is going on? Running: /Users/jwalker326/Desktop/First\_Year\_Project/FaceHouse\_MasterCopy\_lastrun.py pyo version 0.8.0 (uses single precision) 2017-01-22 13:26:48.926 python[656:103991] ApplePersistenceIgnoreState: Existing state will not be touched. New state will be written to /var/folders/xm/nbwr06ld0dvb1ls1v6\_8hkddpkngl0/T/org.p…

On one machine, all worked just fine. On another, I got this error.

**Solution (ish)**
One person downgraded to 1.84 and got things going. But Windows is right - it is a permissions issue. I went into the main PsychoPy2 folder’s properties and hit the Security tab. Giving everybody around full control permissions to that directory and below and we work just fine.

So, something is up in the install in terms of how the permissions set
