Hi everyone,
I am trying to integrate an emotion detection software into an experiment that i have created in order to do an online study. I was able to make progress using the face-api.js software ([face-api.js](https://justadudewhohacks.github.io/face-api.js/docs/index.html)) and the demo\_faceapi ([Rebecca Hirst / demo\_faceapi · GitLab](https://gitlab.pavlovia.org/lpxrh6/demo_faceapi)).

I was wondering if anyone has in mind any publications regarding the accuracy/validation of the face-api.js or any studies that used face-api.js to capture emotions.

For instance, i came across this publication that used face-api to infer attentional states [Measuring real-time cognitive engagement in remote audiences - PMC](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10310845/) however up until now i was not able to find a publication that used face-api to detect emotions.

Thank you very much in advance!
Anastasios
