What are you trying to achieve?:
I am doing a serial recall task with letters. So the participants see letters on the screen then after all of the letters have been shown, they type them in in the order they saw them. I have it setup where they can type the letters and what they are typing comes up on the screen.
But I would also like there to be a sort of notebook feature where on the side of the screen they can keep track of the letters that have been shown. At the beginning of each trial the notebook will be refreshed, participants can use it for every letter in that trial and it will stay up during the recall screen. They can type the letters in to help them remember but they don’t have to use the feature if they think they can remember the letters without help.
Sorry if this is confusing! Basically its like if they had scratch paper to use but we want the scratch paper to be digital.
