Description of the problem: Initially, we had a problem associated with a missing conditions file in the folder, in which the conditions spreadsheet was pointed at a specific location in my local computer.

After uploading a conditions file to the experiment code folder, the same error message popped out when we ran the experiment. I was wondering if the conditions file is custom-made, or a generic file that can be interchanged between different project? Does the name of the conditions file matter? Is there any further action needed after uploading the conditions file to the “CODE” section of the experiment? Many thanks.

Hey!

Yes, the names of the conditions file matters, and is normally made by the researcher. I’ve got two links below that could help you out:

- About condition files. [Flow — PsychoPy v2021.1](https://www.psychopy.org/builder/flow.html#method-of-constants)
- An experiment we use in our automated tests. Note it features some notes for upgrades we’ve got planned, but it does offer a very minimal example of a working experiment with (multiple) conditions files.
