Hi!

I am having trouble opening psychopy. I started using psychopy a few weeks ago and up until now I have been able to open it. I’ve tried following the instructions on this page ([http://www.psychopy.org/troubleshooting.html#cleanprefs](http://www.psychopy.org/troubleshooting.html#cleanprefs)), but I can’t find the files for data cleaning.

I’m not receiving any error messages, it just won’t open. I am using Windows 10 and PsychoPy version 1.84.2.

Thanks in advance!

If you can see it in the task bar try this:

> If my suspicions are correct, this is a windows problem and not a psychopy problem. This used to happen on a windows machine I used with different applications. Try the advice in the link below. I’ll quote the relevant parts here in case the link ever goes dead: Getting Your Hidden Window Back with Cascade Windows The easiest way to get back a hidden window is to just right-click on the Taskbar and select “Cascade windows”. If that doesn’t work, proceed with the keyboard trick below. Ge…

If not, run psychopy from the command prompt and see if you can get an error messages there:

```
"C:\Program Files (x86)\PsychoPy2\python.exe" "C:\Program Files (x86)\PsychoPy2\Lib\site-packages\psychopy\app\psychopyApp.py"
