# After working on builder for a while, builder file can't be worked on or be opened!

**PsychoPy version** : 2026.1.1

**What are you trying to achieve?: build an experiment**

**What specifically went wrong when you tried that?**

I worked on my script, then I closed it. When I tried to open it again, it either could not be opened, or if it did open routines were not visible. I’d appreciate any help, thank you…

by the way, I tried the suggestions to other similar entires, but they did not work. I use 2026.1.1 standalone, so the routine rename bug should have been fixed in this version, right?

i’d greatly appreciate if my script is saved, as I can’t make any progress now…

Try this file. You had a loop with the same name as one of your routines.

I had already started another script from scratch and that one was complete and worked fine I guess because I didn’t mess with routine names that much… I learned smt very important…
